The invention has been reviewed by State Intellectual Property Office of China in accordance with the Patent Law of the People's Republic of China and State Intellectual Property Office has decided to grant a patent right for invention, issue the certificate of patent for invention and register it on the patent log. The patent right will become effective from the date of authorization proclamation.

The duration of patent right for the invention shall be twenty years, counted from the date of filing. The patentee shall pay an annual fee in accordance with the provisions of the Patent Law and these Implementing Regulations. The duration of annual fee shall be paid in advance within the month before June 2^nd of each year. Where an annual fee is not paid as prescribed, the patent right shall lapse from the expiration of the time limit within which the annual fee should be paid.

The patent certificate shall make a record of the situation of the law when registering the patent right. The transfer, mortgage, invalidation, cessation, resumption and the names of the patent owner and his nationality, change of addresses, etc. should be recorded in the patent log.
